Krug's Usability

a.k.a. Web usabilty for the A.D.D. What if we like to think about our websites. Personally, I think the web is fun with all it's quirkiness with weird sites but I stress that it is only ok to get lost on the information superhighway only when I'M JUST BROWSING. Like neato art websites are fun, but I think I'm missing the point. This guy pushes the structure of a website to cater to people who have "no b.s." attitudes. And that's cool, that's how we get things done. So, I am learning from this guy. But this has nothing to do with aesthetic. Like, this is focusing on the text side of things. But it is down to milliseconds in this guys opinion, and I'm totally not so important where I CAN'T WASTE MY MILLISECONDS on someones work. That was a big theme of his. Life is a journey, appreciate it. For an example, let's put it this way, if I go to a site that has DEALS tab up on the top, I click it, and the deals suck. Because it is too popular maybe, and too many people see it, that I don't get my deal. Intricacy works sometimes. This is like uniformity of the web.

I don't feel that important but time is money and I don't waste time when I can help it. I am sadly one of those person who tends to skips all the extra stuff, sifting through it in an effort to find what I need and get out to the next thing on my list. :(
